1. Anonymous identifier
When you first visit coach.thedrift.life we generate a random UUID and store it in your browser's local storage as your anonymous user id. This lets us count returning visits, remember your consent, and link analytics events to the same browser without knowing who you are. It contains no personal information.
2. What you upload
Videos and images you upload are sent to our AI provider to produce form feedback. We sample frames in your browser; only the sampled frames and basic metadata (skill, duration, frame count) are sent. We do not retain the original file after analysis.
3. Analytics we store
We store coaching results, feedback you submit (helpful / not helpful, surveys, feature requests), recommendation interactions, and an estimated AI cost per analysis. Each row is linked to your anonymous user id, not to your name or email.
4. Consent record
When you accept the AI disclaimer, we record the consent / terms / privacy versions, the timestamp, and your browser's user agent so we have an auditable record. You will only be asked again if any of these versions change materially.
5. Cookies & local storage
We only use local storage for the anonymous id and the cached consent state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
6. Changes
Material changes to this policy will bump its version and require you to re-acknowledge before submitting another analysis.
